stir-crazy

it’s been a while since i’ve posted on tumblr! but things are kind of getting overwhelming lately and just need to vent. 

to-do:

-too much. 

i had to quit my current internship. which i am sad about :( but the reason i quit was because a super awesome opportunity opened up at school! i’ll be an intern this fall semester (hopefully spring semester too) for the office of multicultural student affairs. it’s a 20ish hours a week thing and i thought this would be a better route given my grad school plans and would also save me lots of time (and gas!) Although the pay isn’t as high as my current internship (about $5/hr less.. T__T), I’m trying not to obsess too much about money… luckily, i have a tutoring job lined up on saturday mornings (courtesy of my sister) which definitely will help pay for gas at least :) 

i’m always astonished when things like this randomly happen. it always throws me off ‘my plan,’ but i think this is a good thing b/c God is reminding me that He is in control of my life and that I should live accordingly! haha sometimes it’s tough trying to be forced back onto the path, but sometimes ‘happy’ opportunities spring up that encourage me! :) 

i need a haircut. 

i am actually pretty excited for classes to start. work life is not that exciting or fun… haha 

i really want to make the most out of this final year!

my, my what an interesting week.

my little siblings + parents are at a mission trip in arizona so it’s just been me and my sister since monday morning. it’s so quiet in this house it’s weird.. haha 

i had to cook and clean which is not too fun. >< 

work has been okay. getting geared up for the move, which is probably going to be happening next month! woohoo! 

it’s been very weird weather lately. lots of rain, thunder, lightning and some hail today… luckily no hail in my area. whew 

have been way off track on my workout schedule… but will be fixing that ASAP! (also, i need my mama to get into the gym b/c the membership is under her name/ID… T___T fail) 

payday is tomorrow yay. need to make a budget and stick to it. 

GRE studyingg. urgh. am 3/4 finished with book 1. ordered another GRE practice book and also a vocab book…. aksd;foier 

want to go vacation so bad. want to take off a year to go to Korea and work super hard for six months as a tutor then take the next six months traveling wherever I want. 

am planning on visiting my sister in ATL during fall break. oct 11-16. would be missing two days of classes, but that’s okay haha. super cheap airfare prices too! whoop 

franklin & bash! have been watching it lately with my sister lols it’s pretty funny :) 

rangers game this friday vs the houston astros. bf is from houston. yuck
